Notes

Gauge after blocking gauge 6S x 7.5R per 1” stst. Grew about 8” in width so the size is as the pattern states. Rather small unless you’re very petite, too bad I’m not. More of a scarf for me.

I did notice a small hole developed where the new co sts meet the existing sts. I found that if I knit sts 9, 10 & 11 on the following row through the back loop the hole was eliminated.

I’d like to make this again if I can figure a good way to inc the width without inc the length.
I’d also slip the first st along the neck edge, but that’s just a personal preference.

This was a fun project that worked up quickly! It doesn’t require your complete attention but does change often enough to keep you interested.
Knit and purl sts are combined in a very clever way to form a subtle geometric pattern that’s very appealing to the eye.

The yarn is wonderful; soft and squishy and a joy to knit with. A perfect choice and machine washable, although I was a bit timid and hand washed.

Making this as a KAL with Lisa (labirdinhand) who suggested this pattern and yarn. Thanks Lisa!
