DK really works for this pattern. It’s lighter and drapier than worsted would be, while still being cozy and warm.

And I can’t say too many good things about the yarn I used. Polwarth and Silk! What’s not to like?! Among other things, it isn’t splitty at all, so it makes crocheting with it very easy.

Once you get the hang of the special stitches, this is really fun to crochet.
