A crochet gift made for yet another one of my knitting-exclusive friend’s birthday! I’ve been trying to think of a good present for her for ages and this is perfect!

The pattern is easy to follow and VERY EASY to make. I made a 17 chain necklace in two or three hours, and that’s including the time I spent experimenting.

I made an alteration to the pattern where I chained 10 instead of 7 and did 21 sc instead of 15. I found that this work A LOT better for me, probably because I used a different yarn or had a tighter gauge or something.

For the pinky-purple chain I used Wool-Ease and held FOUR TIMES. I realized during the project that it was probably over kill and I should have just held two or three at the most, but I like how it came out. In the white chain I held three strands, but it feels bigger and harder because the yarn is more sturdy and less soft. The blue green chain I held two strands and it seemed a little too small. They all came out fine though!!

The purple chain is 17 links long, blue-green is 19 and the white is 21. The blue and the purple ones look closer in length because I held less yarn in the blue one so it is just smaller.
