As was true with the experience of others, this pattern is far too wide, even when knitting on gauge. For the torso I took out 10 stitches (4 inches!) of both the front and back to make a sweater that matched the (very poorly planned) schematic. I’d recommend others do the same, to avoid a torso that’s fit for a walrus.
