I’m gonna do it, I’m going to attempt to fuse two different yarns. (I know this may be a big mistake, but the pattern’s quick, so I can always frog it with minimal regret).

My plan is to do both calves with the regular wool, then ease the switch at the heel with a couple row color changes into the superwash. (My theory is that the superwash will be slightly more durable, so it’s better to have it for the foot.)

And not tell Clarence. He’ll probably never notice, right?
