I had some gifted chenille I needed to do something with, and cozy washcloths seemed a good idea!

The pattern was pretty wack, so I scrubbed it (snicker) and worked my own version. The construction is the same (petals first, then decreased through the center) but simplified:

petals: CO 11 sts.
inc 1 st each side until 20 sts.
repeat x 5.

join petals and work in the round.
k 1 row.
k2, k2 tog
repeat these two rows until 7 or 8 sts remain, break and draw through.
