Over dyed the teal yarn with Rit Dyemore dye to make it a variegated colourway more like the model on the pattern.

Finished the project yesterday. This was a fairly simple knit. The only thing that may give someone a problem is keeping the patterning straight when doing the decreases and increases otherwise, anyone could make this cardigan. The instructions are very well laid out.

Mods to the pattern:. I knit the first sleeve as written in the pattern, but decided to take it back to just above the elbow. The pattern is a straight sleeve which ended up being more bell shaped and I prefer a tapered sleeve. From there I decreased one stitch each side of the underseam on row 5 of the pattern repeat until I reached 60 stitches keeping the pattern. Then knit in pattern until I had the length I wanted and knit the cuff.

The sweater fits really well and I really like the way it turned out. I wasn’t sure about how bright the colours are, but it will go nicely with jeans or a dark pant/skirt.
