Notes

Couldn’t find the yarn in the US, so purchased it from the Wool Warehouse in the UK. The shipping time was really pretty amazing!

Didn’t want the fuller sleeves and added decreases: 24 stitches decreased, 2 per round every 8 rounds starting after the 4th round from armhole. Did 104 rounds from armhole to get 16.25 inches to start of cuff.

Used tubular bind off for ribbed waist band and cuffs and alternating cable cast on for collar.

Can’t say enough about how exceptionally this pattern is written. Great option for a first sweater and also engaging for experienced knitters. I’ve completed many sweaters and some design work and the write up of this pattern was a wonderful model of how to create high quality patterns. I learned so much from this approach!
