I love, love, love this sweater. This yarn is beautiful, and the design is great.

Note - this yarn was marked “Sport” but has been renamed “DK” as it really knits up as a DK.

Notes:

• Knit collar to row 32
• p/u 2 stitches for 3 rows
• ended with 370 stitches at end, which was 6 full chart repeats
• unblocked 24.5 inches, 26 including hem

Mods:

• c/o 10 not 11 at underarm, as I didn’t do the faux side seams.
• I was going to sew toggles and loops, to be able to overlap the fronts and close this, but I think I’ve decided on hidden hooks and eyes to just bring the fronts closed for a bit, as I hate to cover up that beautiful cabling!

row 1 after pick-up minus 2 at 6/7 - 76
decrease row 17 ( row 1 in pattern) then row 23, then 29 then every 12th until 56 left.
- 7 more rows then smaller needles, decrease to 48 and cuff.
7garter ridges ending with knit row

Had to use my swatch - ended up with 1 yard to spare. Thank you Viv (viviknits) for sending me a few emergency spare yards so I can make something to fasten this.

Pattern Gauge: 20 st. and 27 rows = 4 inches in stockinette.
