Issues in the pattern seem to begin with section 6. I made a few changes which may have made issues with subsequent changes, but I tried to just keep the pattern as even as possible. My changes bolded below:

Section Six, Row 1.
In the first portion of the row, prior to center stitch:
“slip five stitches, bring yarn to back, place marker, M1, kfb…”

Row 16, after the final six specialty stitch repeat, omit the P2.

Row 17, after the final repeat of the specialty instructions seven more time, omit M1 and consequent slip stitch.

Row 22 should be the same as rows 18 and 20.

Row 24: Omit P1 prior to slipping center marker.

Section Seven, Row 5: Last sentence should be “Repeat from to last 5 st, k1, yo, kfb, k3.”

Section Eight, row 3: Last sentence to read “Repeat from to last 4st, kfb, k3.

Section Ten, row 1: Last sentence is incorrect. I neglected to note what it should be, but knit in pattern until the 5 or 4 stitches remain (this is where I’m foggy), place marker, on the 4th to last stitch kfb, k3.

This is such a beautiful shawl now that I’m finally done, but I found the errors frustrating considering there seemed to be so many tests of it done yet no corrections actually made in the pattern. Frustrations trying to make the numbers match extended the time it took to knit this far beyond where I wanted it to be.
