Can’t believe it’s done! My first colourwork sweater, and I couldn’t be happier with it. The pattern was very clear and detailed, and such a fun motif to work up!

The yarn was about the cheapest pure wool I am able to source locally, and I found it to be completely fine. I saw some reviews stating there were a lot of knots, and maybe I just got very lucky but there was only one ball that had a knot in it of the lot that I purchased. Easy to splice, could definitely be softer but for the price I can’t really complain, and I am lucky to not have sensitive skin :)

After wearing the sweater a couple of times, the weight of the body has massively stretched the neckline and it ended up sitting veeeery wide (nearly falling over my shoulders). I’ve added a strand of elastic thread through both the bottom and top edges of the collar, which has tightened it up beautifully :)
