CO backwards loop method, confusing after knit yoke instructions begin, read instructions carefully and in advance. Buttonhole #1 begins about 3/4 - 1” from top of button panel.
buttonhole seed st 2, then 3, co tog so hole is at 3rd stitch position.
Forgot second buttonhole! Remembered 1/3 an inch later.

When I blocked this the neck became too big. Will try again to shrink it.
