I used leftover yarn from Scheepjes projects, most of them Scheepjes Linen Soft - I estimate I needed about 3 skeins;

I started with a very vague idea to make a top out of “grannys” but different, it did turn out more challenging to make a good shape out of hexagons compared to squares though.

I spent quite some time in figuring out how to make it into a wearable top with cords and the final shape.

I ended up with a combination of crochet cords and a “corset” back, and added fringes.

An intense exercise in creativity, my project before were most based on existing patterns.
Here the only pattern part is the hexagon (bedankt, Kirsten :-)) and the rest is my work ;-)
