I saw this pattern in a booklet “Mijn breidomein” edition from Burda - Verena.
I was specially appealed by the blue colour of this shawl.
Managed to buy this specific same colour online.
Starting this project during the Christmas holiday 2014.

Update 29/12/2014: already crochetted 36 rows from 70.
I like the pattern, this project is going quicker than anticipated for - it looks like I’m going to be able to wear this shawl soon :-)

Update 30/12/2014: finished all the rows, now crocheting all around the shawl. When that’s finished, I have to form it and then make the fringes.

Update 04/01/2014: finished succesfully - I only used four instead of six skeins. This was a very fulfilling project to work on.
To make the fringes - cutting yarn of 30 cm and this 12 times per fringe - and this for appr. 20 fringes, I developed a “system” (see photo) to do this quicker.

I’m going to wear this shawl often, I adore the colour….
