Making smallest size using US 6 for a tighter weave.

Frogged after joining in the round. I decided to go up a needle size from US 6 to US 7. The neckline was too tight and I want it to be more breezy like my Tolsta or Ranunculus.

Will be restarting soon. Thinking I might cast on a larger size for a wider neckline and modifying to keep a size small for the circumference

Whoops, forgot to cast on the larger size. Oh well. I’m not restarting again. I will consider a different collar - shorter ribbing (think take turns tank), I cord, double knit, rolled stockinette….

Each diamond is about 2”

Using the braided join to avoid weaving in ends and it’s working incredibly.

I used two skeins for the collar, 9” yoke, and 9” of body, then left the body on hold to make the sleeves.

Just finished first sleeve. 6 diamonds from underarm to cuff. Finished on row 1, dropped down to ribbing needle size for 1 straight stockinette round, then decrease round, then ribbing. I need to finish cuff and will pick up the second sleeve tomorrow.

Finished second sleeve. Back to finish the body and decide on the collar.

10 rounds for collar and knitted it down. 2 grams of yarn remain so I could possibly knit a couple more rounds if I don’t like the shorty collar.
