Not doing the slipped stitch on the back.

I worked 4 extra short rows on the back nearer to the middle of the sweater to help it not ride up. Glad I did this.

Sleeves: picked up 8 more sts than the L called for (knit the sleeve height to the L size), and decreased out those 8sts on the first round.

Decided to block the body before starting the sleeves so I don’t accidentally make them too long. Almost 2 full balls of yarn left at the end of the body (I used about 15 grams of the 5th ball and none of the 6th). Plenty left for sleeves!

Tried to get this finished for the end of June, but I just couldn’t get the cuffs finished in time. I knit them both 3 times before I settled on a length I liked.

Reflections upon wearing: I wish I had somehow lowered the front neckline, as it feels like it is suffocating me, so I keep pulling it forward, which makes the shoulder seam pull forward and not sit nicely. The sleeves also feel quite wide all the way down my arm, and I would have narrowed them by at least an inch if I made it again (which I will not).
Sigh…so close yet so far.
