First photo up. Not keen on the darker blue near top. The contrast is not good but I’m refusing to frog all those stitches.

Today I ordered some “gnome” colour to brighten this up. I will use one ball gnome with one ball sphinx. That means I have 8 balls altogether and one giant blanket to snuggle under in winter :)

Added a new cable so the blanket is not squashed on a small cable, which will help with a looser tension :)

I decided not to use Gnome but to continue with same colour.

There’s one or two areas where colour contrast is not good, but hey ho

Decided to finish this with a little yarn left over.

Not happy with the top and bottom curling, might have a think about it and see if I can change it in some way. This is the first time it’s ever happened to me.

Will wash later and show a beauty sshot.

New photo taken last night in dark, electric light so colours look much darker than they are.

Right now I’m off to view a little bungalow, hope I don’t get lost on the drive there.

I decided to purchase two more cakes of yarn and add a knitted border, similar to the one on GAAA, this will stop me getting irritated by the turning over of the borders lol.

Finally finished the cable edging. It looks odd with a wide knitted edge so in the next blanket I only knitted 3 stitches on the sides, plus 3 rows on top n bottom.

I still have a lot of wool left so might make a large cushion cover
