Notes

Cast on today (9 July 2022), and enjoying knitting Niebling once again.

July 12, 2022

Finished knitting for the day and noticed a huge error. I either missed a row or misread a stitch. Can’t believe I didn’t spot it before. Not tinking back five or six rows, besides no one will see it as it will be on top of my head lol.

August 15, 2022

Knitting is finished. I purchased some wire for the brim which took an absolute age to sew in. I think it might be too stiff and curl up again after blocking.

If it does I shall pull out the wire and use it as a doily with a thick edge joy.

August 16, 2022

Wire kinked too much, so this project will be scrapped. I’ll take out the wire and use this as a doily with the messy edge. Disappointed with myself.
