This afghan is now on hold for a while.

I had forgotten about this Afghan. It was hiding at the back of a cupboard.

I now have only 8 red and 8 white squares to sew together. I’ve used a lot of red and white squares for other projects. The edging will be white grinning .

Not all squares shown were used, some were unpicked and used for other projects.

During the sewing up I Kitchener stitched about three red squares together before I realised what I had done. Have you ever tried to undo Kitchener stitch? Needless to say, it stayed as one ow red one row white. I’m not happy with the finished item at all, during it’s years in the cupboard some squares seem to have shrunk. It will make a nice lapghan for next winter. It’s now going for a good wash in the machine. grinning
