2011.07.09 Cast on for border.

2011.07.26 Half way through knitting the border. This seems to be taking forever, although there have been days when I have not knitted at all. Only another 20 sets of 48 rows to go.

2011.08.15 Only 96 more rows to do on the border then I can start on the real long stuff lol. This border seems to have taken forever, although there were some weeks when I didn’t knit at all - trying to give up smoking and the patches appear to make me very sleepy so I had many days asleep on the sofa. I knew there was another use for those old kitchen towel rolls lol

2011.08.17 Border is finished and it took 1,040 yards of yarn woohoo!

2011.08.25 First pattern set completed.

2011.09.02 Second pattern set (Miniature Leaf) completed. The shawl will be a square once it has been blocked, although the pics make it look circular.

2011.09.07 Third pattern set (Horseshoe Stitch) completed. That was easy peasy, onwards n upwards, should finish this by end of next week.

2011.10.03 I took this to Scotland with me and during a very wet week I managed to complete it, but had to carry it around with me for several weeks.

2011.10.19 Photos of completed shawl are now on but I still have to block it, which should be done either today or tomorrow - need to get my energy levels up :>)
