I should have started the toe section earlier. When the socks are on, it doesn’t start until after the end of my pinky toe. I started based on the positioning of the top-down sock on my foot when it reached the ball of the foot under the pinkies, but because of the foot’s asymmetry, the toe section is pulled to the side.
