Notes

2023-07-04

Swatching with 3.75mm/US5. Close to gauge but fabric a bit more dense than I like. Switching to 4mm/US6 for main. 2.75mm/US2 gave the best ribbing without needing to change stitch count.

2023-07-11 Back

Tubular CO 118 sts (no dec). Ribbing on 2.75mm/US2. Changed to 4mm/US6.
Striped Reverse st st for 15” or 17 repeats, ending with RS row 5.
Shape armhole. BO 6 sts over 2 rows (carrying yarns). 106 sts. Dec to 74 sts.
Start neck/shoulders after 25th green stripe plus 2 rows of MC.

2023-07-15 Front

Ribbing on US2 with 122 sts

Delayed start of v-neck by about 1.5” (3 green repeats). Adjusted neck dec with recalculation. Needed a 2-st dec every pattern repeat.

2023-08-08

Seaming shoulders first in reverse stockinette. Then pick up for neck ribbing and working flat. Different st count for neck edges.

Row gauge 22 rows = 3” for stitch gauge 22 sts = 4” Hence PU 3 sts over 4 rows.

33 sts along right neck, 52 sts along back neck, 33 sts along left neck.

3 rows seem too short. Doing 5 rows.
Sewn tubular BO

Next work armhole ribbing flat (PU 98 sts) Then seam sides.
