For gauge of 26.7 sts x 32.7 rows

MC is Melancholia (medium to dark teal, navy/-ish purple)
CC is Castaway (light blue, grey, brown, orange)

CO neck ribbing using long-tail tubular 136 sts (size #4)

Ribbing on US2 x 8 rounds = 1”

Yoke inc to size #4 for sleeves but cont inc to size #5 for body.

Did “Ladderback” on the WS for longer 6+ sts spans of colourwork. Find that they give better stretch than my usual way of catching yarn for colourwork. In future, I should do then even for regular shorter spans of colourwork (4+ sts).

Finished main body at 11” from armhole.

Holding main body with TKB cords while I work sleeves (to match orange at yoke).

Worked sleeves using chart for size 4 but start at round 7 to match size 5 body. Instead of PU sts from body, CO sts. Will sew seam together during finishing.

Chiaogoo 11” shorties in US4

Changed to smaller needles 32” US2 and MC, knit 1 full round.

Instead of ribbing, did the horizontal border from Lyrah sweater with cable CO 8 sts.

Back to body. Knit 1 round with MC in 32” US2 smaller needles. Cable CO 16 sts for bottom edging.

Ran out of main colour. Frogged my swatch. Just a few grams of CC yarn left.
