Started this in response to Curlie’s invite … hoping very much to get it done by Nov. 18!!

I didn’t like the weight of a single strand of the yarn on size 3 needles, so I went up to two strands. This way the ridges of the k rows show up better. However, now the result is a slightly stiff scarf, but the pattern stands out great! A compromise I’m willing to take, given that I really want the pattern to pop. :)

Started second scarf, with drops nepal and delight. I like the softness much better than the one where I held two strands together….
The pattern says to watch out when you block it - you don’t want to smash the purls!!! I agree!
