This is my first NQFY project for HPKCHP!!! I’m so excited! I liked the look of the fungi wrapped around the trunk of the tree, so I thought maybe a ruffle scarf would be close to that effect :)

OK, casting off the first ruffle, and watching the scarf turn into cute curlie-cues? BEST EVER! The mushroom-colored ruffle is done. Now I’m doing the leaf-colored one :)

I used the whole skein on the mushroom colored ruffle, and about half the skein of Blur for the leaf colored ruffle.
This was fun! I bet I will make another one. I’m all done, but I’m wondering about adding a little kidsilk haze to the edge of the mushroom colored ruffle, to give it a hint of sunlight, to look more like the photo of the tree :)
