I am making this top in colors inspired by my homeland’s colorful textiles.

Followed the pattern except for trading the second set of grey/yellow columns to a 2x2 square stripe of the two tones of pink. I wanted more of the hot pink and stripes made up of squares is often found in Peruvian textiles.

Lengthened the body to 9 inches (in the blue color) and then began the bottom edging.

The top fits very well and I am very happy with it.
