I used Made by K’s pattern for Kitty’s Face, then added a sc border in Lt sage.

Next, I improvised with sc, hdc, dc, and trc to make it as rectangular as possible. I didn’t write it down, I’m a dumdum.

Then I made approx 13 rows of sc with a sc border to match the dimensions of the kitty rectangle and mattress-stitched the pieces together on three sides.

The handle is a chain and 1 row of sc joined inside the purse.

The bow is based on a tutorial by bobwilson123.

Finally, I finished the face details with a yarn needle.
