This was a Christmas present for my friend obsessed with Hello Kitty.

I used stitchboard.com to modify a picture into a pattern then opened the picture in Paint to tweak it a bit.

(I was unable to determine/give credit to the original creator of the picture. I did not design this picture or the characters upon which it is based. Therefore, I cannot post the pattern and will never profit from this project.)

The entire blanket is single crochet, including one round of border.

Use of the tapestry technique makes this project reversible.

I worked each row in alternating directions instead of turning the work.

The pattern is 150 stitches across and 228 rows long with a few rows of white added to both the top and bottom.
