Went a little off-piste with the pattern and added a row of bobbles and some single rib in the mix. I knew I wanted the edging to be in 2x1 rib, but decided to make it a 2x1 half-rib to complement the rest of the 1 and a half-rib heavy pattern. It turned out just as I’d hoped. The I love how the colorful confetti brightens up the tweedy ochre yarn - I find that the flecks sneak up on you which makes for a nice surprise as you look more closely at the shawl. I’m excited to wear this in cooler temps!

Had way too much fun documenting my latest FO with my photographers. This is a modified version of the Anomalie shawl knit in the most perfect fall ochre with bits of confetti tweed for a little colorful tira-mi-su that’ll come in handy when the next snowpocalypse hits central Texas (still haven’t fixed the grid, have they?). My favorite thing about knitting with this @labienaimee yarn was being surprised with a new color and texture in every row. It’s a perfect rustic/modern mashup and it goes with everything neutral. Feels good to be knitting again!
