I’m really pleased with how this turned out. I intended this to be airy for Texas fall and less of a winter layer, so sized up my needles. It has the perfect drape and the yarn is soft and light.

A couple of things I’m less pleased with:
I do wish I had sized up one more to 3 because I’d been worried about not having enough yarn and ended up not needing one whole skein. I would’ve preferred to have it be a tad bit wider.

The pattern mentions that the armholes would shrink considerably with the ribbing but I find them to still be a bit too large.

Overall, though, this is a wonderful addition to my fall wardrobe and I wore it the day after I finished blocking it when the morning was in the 60s and the afternoon in the 80s.

(It’s been an atrocious month for the world, and it’s clear from the horrendous modeling pics that this has deeply affected me. I’m grateful to have had this project to distract me in between moments of grief and anguish.)
