Repurposed all my donegal tweed from 2 projects for this cardigan. Wasn’t sure if I’d have enough, so ordered another hank and used it for the pockets.

Wanted this to be jacket length and loose-fitting. I knit one arm with 3 decreases and decided I wanted a less structured arm, so went with no decreases on the sleeve and a smaller needle for the cuff ribbing. Tubular BO cuffs, regular BO at hem.

US 7 needles throughout except for sleeve cuffs, for which I used US 3 needles.

Blocked beautifully; added some buttons on the inside and outside for buttonband (will add photos later). Didn’t make buttonholes, but they fit between stitches. Will add the other pocket later - it’s blocked, but adding pockets after knitting is pain!

Really pleased with this cardigan.
