These cats haven’t been spayed because they’re still multiplying like crazy!

Made this batch using many of the tips provided by ClaudiaLikes2Knit’s PussyHat with “Best of Rav” Tips

Cast on 96 stitches onto US7 needles using tubular cast on, and join in the round. Work 2x2 ribbing for 4 1/2 inches.

Switch to US8 needles. Working in stockinette, K 47 sts, place marker, P1. K to 1 st before beginning of round marker, P1.

From then on: * K until 1 stitch before marker, P1, slip marker * ; repeat between * * . Continue until the total length of the hat reaches 8.75 inches.

Turn hat inside out and cast off using a 3-needle bind off.

For extra ear definition, bind off 4 stitches super tight with a very small needle, ( used a size 1), 12 stitches from each edge. Tack the ears closed with a few running stitches to keep them flat and pointy.
