Unravelled an old sweater of my sister’s. Already made a hat out of the first little bit and it looked decent enough, so seeing if it would work on a slightly bigger project like this one. So far so good!

Started on raspberry stitch border, I hate purling so I reversed it and started working on the wrong side.

Round 1 (WS): Knit
Round 2 (RS): Slip first st (or p1), purl-knit-purl all one st, K3tog, repeat until one st remaining, P1
Round 3 (WS): Knit
Round 4 (RS): Slip first st (or p1), K3tog, purl-knit-purl all one st, repeat until one st remaining, P1

Left this for a week or so because I put off sewing on the button (which literally took 2 seconds in the end). Hope the baby/toddler I made this for doesn’t grow too quickly and it still fits by the time I give it to her!
