I spent ages recreating a sweater I saw in a store, using the Anthony pattern as a base. I wet blocked the pieces and unfortunately they all grew a ton. Unexpected, since I did not use superwash. Sigh. When I seamed the sweater together the shoulders looked TERRIBLE and the body and sleeves were way too long. The sleeves had some terrible (& feminine) puffy/pointy thing going on…see photos. I had to completely remove the set in sleeves, unravel 10 rows from each sleeve cap, then set them in again. Shoulders looked better but it was still too big. I set it out on my blocking mats and spritzed with water, concentrating on the arms, then put in the dryer for 5 minutes at a time twice. Then repeated the spritzing/dryer again. Seemed to help a bit. Christmas day the sweater was a big hit. Phew.

Ribbed collar with size 7. Picked up 96 and decreased down to 90 on first row. Knit for 7 rows and bound off in pattern.
Also, Knit sleeves in the round until the underarm.

Body (front/back)
CO 101, rib for 18 rows, then knit 26 rows in white.
Knit chart for 93 rows (K24 in white, work chart for 53, knit 24 in white = 101)
Switching to blue on row 56 of chart.
Shape armholes, bind off on rows 63 & 64
Sleeves: use size 6 for ribbing, co 44 instead of 45, work as directed but in the round, start increases on row 8 of st st. Increase every 8th row 5 times, then every FIFTH (5th) row 9 times. at 17.5” switch to blue for 8 more rows.
Shape cap -BO 3 sts at beg. next 2 rows (68)
Dec row- rep every RS row 21 times (23 st)
BO remaining 19 (on right side?)
Try needles 6 & 7 instead of 7&*
