My first ever Rhinebeck sweater! Knit with crazy intensity to finish in time to wear to Rhinebeck. I love Brooklyn Tweed and Jared Flood’s patterns. Just a few notes:

• The set up rows caused confusion for me- (LinLin7’s notes) helped!

• Even though I got perfect row and stitch gauge, I’m a little worried about the Back. I knit the increases for my size (every 6th row 6 times- total of 7) and I’m supposed to knit either 7 rounds or until 6 1/4” but I’m already over 7”…yikes! I’m just going to keep on trucking to the shoulder shaping section and hope for the best. (Update: Back and fronts turned out totally fine regardless)

• I knit the sleeves 2 sizes up after reading the project notes because I want a looser fit. In retrospect, 1 size up would have been fine. The sleeves were 3-4 inches too long on me- if i knit this again, I will join the shoulder seams before knitting the sleeves so I can gauge the length better.

• I ordered yardage (12 hanks of Shelter) for my size and have 2.5 skeins of yarn leftover even though the sleeves were knit 2 sizes up. For the 38 3/4 size I would suggest ordering 10 or 11 instead of 12.

• This grew about 2 inches after blocking.
