I am striving to become more of a sock knitter and making this pair for my sister’s boyfriend for Christmas. Wish I had sock blockers :(

I’m really enjoying knitting these and just have a couple of thoughts

• The heel flap looks huge to me. Should fit my male recipient’s feet okay, but I would not knit myself socks with such a large heel flap.

• There is an error in the pattern at toe shaping: The beginning of the round moves from the center of the heel to the beginning of the instep stitches.
