Notes

This pattern was really clear, allowing me to follow it with minimal issues despite not having much experience. I can see myself using the join-as-you-go ribbing technique on other projects.

The large is a little big on me, so it should fit the intended recipient nicely. She wanted a men’s fisherman’s rib jersey with raglan sleeves and this couldn’t have been more perfect.

Being a newbie, I didn’t realise that using cotton/bamboo yarn would make this MUCH heavier than wool/acrylic. It weighs nearly a kilogram and took two days to dry! Hope it doesn’t stretch terribly. Also, if I make something with such a repetitive stitch pattern again, I will definitely use a variegated yarn - I got very bored with that lovely Baltic blue. Lessons learned for next time.
