I cast this on using the Crazy Yarn sample that I dyed as a test sample. I’m using the light end to start (top) then it will hopefully build to the full colour at the bottom. I intend to pop the sleeves onto waste yarn to then return too after I have worked the length of the dress …and hopefully be able to add longer sleeves.

gah, I’ve made two major mistakes on this top but I’m NOT undoing it again! I threaded some waste yarn onto the knitting, pulled out my circulars and pinned down Laney to try it on her to see if it was going to work. Yes, after much fiddling and farting around, I managed to get this onto Laney (who decided to flop around like a fish out of water whilst I was doing it). It won’t be perfect but at least I won’t have to undo it again, I can just keep knitting it and be done with it.
