I get this question all the time. No. I do not have the Dale Damask pattern from which this motif came. It is an out of print pillow pattern and I couldn’t find it anywhere. So I took the graphic here, enlarged it greatly, broke out Excel, created graph paper and graphed the darn thing stitch by stitch. It wasn’t overly hard as the picture is outstanding for stitch definition.

instead of the squares, I will be doing the Damask pattern. Planning on doing something other than the corrugated ribbing edge. Probably a hem ala Dale sweaters.

11/5/11 - I removed both sleeves and have decided that this has a better chance at life as a vest, rather than a cardigan.

11/3/12 - time to finish this and proceed with the plans I set a YEAR ago!
