I should have trusted Beth’s pattern. I thought it was going to be too wide, so I left out four rows. I wound up needing them, so I had to add at the back. I did have to make an extra link in the shoulders. I added two extra rows of sc in the neck area and did the trim suggested for the hem on the sleeve edges.
I was surprised at how well I like the color with the skirt I made her yesterday. It has the same mauve as the thread in the flowers which I didn’t notice until I was trying the top on her..

I’m making a second top, only this time I did the full 26 rows.

I wound up skipping only two stitches under the arms on this one, which made for 12 center stitches instead of ten. It’s better, but still too narrow, both in the front and back. I’m going to try adding four more rows on the next one I make, but not today. My hand is sore.

I made a third rose colored top yesterday. I did what I planned to do last time, 30 BLO rows which made for 14 center stitches and changed some other numbers too. I also did an extra row of sc on the neck, FLO this time. I updated the pattern in OneNote.

I finished a fourth rose colored top just now. I wasn’t pleased with the extra buttonhole I had put on the last one. This one just has three.
