The good news is that this lace weight yarn crochets pretty much like size 10 cotton when it’s Navajo plied. I didn’t make any changes to the pattern. I thought it would be a pain to crochet with, but it’s not bad. I just have to watch to make sure I don’t drop one of the plies since they aren’t twisted.

The bad news is that it’s not as shiny, so doesn’t work as well for royal outfits. I was excited that I was going to be able to finish my blue -loving grandsweetie’s royal kitty outfits without having to wait to buy more thread. I used the blue and grey in the photo and it’s just not saying royal to me. Maybe Victorian. I think if I hadn’t been picturing tthe royal blue Artiste thread, I might have been fine with it.
