I’m undecided on the width. It looks good with 92 stitches, but I think fewer would have been fine too.

I did three repeats of the pattern rows and added another partial row. Then I took off on my own, doing a decrease row of k2tog in brown, a purl row and a row of k1, k2tog for a total of 30 stitches. I then switched to k1p1 ribbing and followed the numbers for a 1957 Workbasket dress, but done front and back in one piece. I did a 3 needle cast off for the shoulders and picked up 18 stitches on dpn’s for the sleeves. The sleeves are knitted with two strands of the punch yarn.

Hitty Reva needed long sleeves to wear with her new capelet, so I made her arm warmers. Worn with the capelet, they take the dress from an autumn look to winter.
