Wine shawl made from one strand of Reclaimed Wine Woolrich Wool, yarn that was unraveled from a sweater.

New shawl made from Reclaimed Mountain Lake turquoise. I think it’s smaller than the other ones, but nice for spring.

I made one just now with Knit Picks Palette. The color is called edamame. I added one more repeat of rows 2 & 3 between rows 7 and 8. This is reflected in the final pattern. I suspect I should have done that on some of the other yarns too. Some of them are a bit on the small side.

One more shawl, a yellow one this time. It looks stinking cute in the outfit I put Althea in today. I think I have the pattern memorized now.

Two more shawls today, but variations on what I’ve been doing. First I made one in the yellow Palette for Hitty Reva using size 3 needles. I followed the pattern, except I think I added more rows. I’ll make her another one and put up a project page with the pattern. The openings in the back for the yarn overs are particularly large in this scale. I may want to try the next one with a different increase.

Then I wanted to see what the shawl would look like with a different increase in the back. I used kfb and pfb, otherwise following the pattern. I like this one too, maybe better. The final version of the shawl reflects this change.

I made an off-white wool shawl today. I’m planning to try and dye it with pokeberries. We’ll see how it goes. I used the kfb and pfb increases, but I had to stop and think about it after one mess up, so I thought I’d include the change here.

I did the trick for kfb without the purl bumps again. I’m not sure it would be noticeable here, but I need more practice with it.
