I knit this with fingering yarn containing angora on a size US4 (3.5mm) needle. The yarn is too thick and fuzzy, and the needle too small, to get the open lace I was hoping for. After doing 10 repeats of the flower chart and blocking aggressively it is only 40”x20” (pattern says it should be closer to 48x24) but it works and I’m happy enough for my first lace shawl attempt!

Flower chart: I did 10 repeats.
