I bought yarn for a shadow knitted sweater, so this is practice. Pattern says potholder, but I think it might get used as a washcloth.

Used worsted instead of DK yarn, so went with a US 7 and cast on 42 stitches (3 for each selvedge and 9 for each column)

Finished dimensions: 9”x9.5” @ 41g (so about 21g of dark yarn, 20g of light yarn)
