I ended up using the Lion Brand pattern but with more rounds. I totally love my poncho.

The swatching was a total waste of time (which you can read about here), but I am finally on the road to having my own amazing poncho! I will leave Madonna and her super bowl half-time finery in the dust!

I am using worsted weight scraps of acrylic yarn for this endeavor. I am hoping to create a garment for poncho lovers that drives poncho haters absolutely mad.
