I have 44 single crochet stitches to make and four ends to weave in and then this bag will be done. It only took 7&1/2 months and 16 blog posts.

I am just 3 hexagons and two handles/straps away from completion! The bag is going to be huge.

When people see me with it they will think that I am the new nanny (a la Mary Poppins), or I’ve come to live with them.

It will be perfect for taking my show on the road. :)

This bag feels like it is taking FOREVER! But I am finally making progress!

I am using the hexagon layout for the Mamy bag with the African Flower hexagon motif.

I am expecting the most challenging thing will be to find handles I like.
