Notes

I can honestly say I was confused with instructions for Row 2, but now I understand what it is Heidi May meant.

K2tog through the back loop. DO NOT slip loops (sts) off the right needle and DO NOT slip the loop (stitch) on the left needle.

In other words… You should have 2 loops on the left needle and 1 loop right needle. See photo I’ve shared.

Bring the yarn to front (forward) BETWEEN the loops.

Work a normal P2tog for the 2 loops on the left needle with the yarn brought forward.

There should always be the exact number of stitches for each row that were cast on the knitting needle.

So, if you cast-on 18 stitches, you should have 18 sts when working rows 1 and 2.

Moving on with my first Onyx scarf project for my eight-year-old great-niece… It is 64” inches long (end to end) Christmas is Coming!
