This is going to be my “winter in Florida” cardigan and I am SO SO happy with it!!!!

I was a tiny bit off on gauge and chose to create a cardigan one size larger than recommended for my body measurements, so mine is EXTRA roomy (which I honestly love). I have 58” as my chest circumference giving me approximately 13” of positive ease.

It’s approximately 36.5” long (from neck to bottom) and hits me at about my knees.

I did have some issues understanding the pocket decreases (I ended up with huge gaps at the decrease stitches) and I wasn’t happy with how they looked so I opted not to add them. I may create pockets at a later time and add them on.

The only thing I’m upset about (and this has nothing to do with the pattern) is that when blocking the yarn, my LB 24/7 cotton yarn became discolored in a bunch of places. I have no idea why and my wool wash is color safe. It was really upsetting to have spent months on this project and then have splotches all over it before the first wear. Oh and I spilled coffee on the sleeve and couldn’t quiiiiite get all the stain removed, but that’s completely on me!

Even though it’s not perfect, I love it!!!! And I’d recommend the pattern to anyone who wants an oversize, slouchy, comfy cardigan with an easy/peasy super meditative construction.
