Keen to try out 8/4 cotton weft on a doubled 8/2 cotton warp - my hope is that this will produce just as good a quality as 8/2 doubled weft, with less hassle.
Doing a series of 5 washcloths, each in different colours and trying out some new kinds of 8/4 cotton. Mainly because it’s fun to try out colour combinations.
Looks-wise, I really like the 8/4 weft on the 8/2 warp - it’s barely noticeable in terms of width, and it’s a nicely balance weave. But the final proof will be in the pudding, of course - the wet finish.
